Her father was a singer and drummer, so she grew up exposed to music. This encouraged her to pursue performing.
She joined the Special Program for the Arts (SPA) in high school at Dr. Cecilio Putong National High School where she majored in vocals. This honed her skills in singing and performing at a young age.
